What is Instrument Connectivity?
Instrument Connectivity for QuidelOrtho analyzers refers to the implementation of standard interface protocols that enable communication with external systems. Depending on each analyzer’s capabilities, these interfaces may allow for example, the analyzer to send results, receive orders, update date and time settings, manage operator lists, or perform other functions with external Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, or middleware platforms that support diagnostic instruments.
Use the instrument platform links below to learn which connectivity features are available for each platform and how to configure your instrument for communication.
